Every apartment is furnished to a high standard with your ease and comfort in mind. Your hosts, Sally and Duane are available on-call should you need anything.

Meet Sally and Duane – the team behind your Terrace Villas experience. Both Wellingtonians, Sally and Duane have many years’ experience in short and long term boutique accommodation and are committed to ensuring your time at Terrace Villas is wonderful. They’re available on call 24/7 should you need assistance during your stay.
Sally
Sally is the Manager at Terrace Villas, where she brings a wonderful blend of warmth, energy, and world-class care to our guests. Before making the leap into hospitality, Sally spent 30 years as an Emergency Department nurse, both here in New Zealand and overseas.
Decades in fast-paced hospitals taught her how to handle absolutely anything with a calm smile and a helping hand. Sally has traded ER departments for villa doors, but her passion for taking care of people hasn’t changed a bit. She loves making sure every guest feels completely at home, looked after, and welcome from the moment they arrive.
Duane
With over 22 years of dedicated service at Terrace Villas, Operations Manager Duane is the backbone of our daily property management.
He first arrived in New Zealand from China to pursue his studies, shortly after finding his true calling in the accommodation sector.
Duane’s long-term commitment defines the “home away from home” experience that Terrace Villas is celebrated for. From overseeing facility maintenance to managing our on-site team, his wealth of institutional knowledge guarantees that every guest feels genuinely looked after.
Our heritage
Our heritage dates back to the late 1870s when the first property – now part of our portfolio – was built. The story behind each property is fascinating and contributes to the established Terrace Villas brand Wellingtonians know and love.
